We are thrilled you want to audition for Left Coast Theatre Co.! Below are the opportunities currently available.

Casting:

We are casting for the following roles. To better respect the time and efforts of our actors, Left Coast does its best to double cast actors. Actors will be offered at least two roles whenever possible. If you would only like to be considered for one role, please note that on the audition form.

Assimilation:

Matt Carson - Man, 50s - 60s, gay professional

Craig O'Connor - Man, 50s - 60s, gay professional

Dottie Tanner - Woman, 30s - 40s, lesbian and president of the HOA

Blood Drive:

Abby - Fem or Nonbinary, any age, a human

Van - Fem or Nonbinary, any age, a human

Luc - Mas presenting, a vampire

Closet Case:

Isa - Trans Woman, 20s, alone in her apartment at night

Ollie - Trans Man, 20s, Isa's friend

Ghost - Ghost that vaguely looks like Isa

Come Back Right:

The Body - Woman

The Resurrector - Woman, a mad scientist

Ghosted:

Brenda - Woman, ghost

Gigi - Woman, ghost

Hosting Only:

Eric: Man, hopeless romantic

Garrett: Man, handsome and confident

Kyle: Man, Eric's friend who wishes for more

Tongue & Chic:

Tina: Woman, 18 - 30, sharp-tongued (Note: this role requires roller-skating)

Randy: Man, early 30s, precise and intense

SCREAMING QUEENS 2: Scared Stiff!

This anthology of seven shorts celebrates all things queer horror, from vamp camp to very scary.

Audition Window: Sat, 9/19 to Sun, 10/4

Callbacks: Sun, 10/11, 12pm-4pm (in-person)

First Read: Mon, 10/19, 6:30-9:30pm (in-person)

Rehearsals: Late October to Late November

Tech: Mon, 11/30 - Thurs, 12/3, 6:30-10pm

Performances: Fri 12/4; Sat, 12/5; Thurs, 12/10; Fri, 12/11; Sat, 12/12; Thurs, 12/17; Fri, 12/18; Sat, 12/19

All performances are at 7:00pm at Eclectic Box (446 Valencia St., SF)

Auditions:

We will be accepting virtual auditions of filmed 1-2 minute monologues. Please fill out the form linked below and submit your video monologue, as well as your headshot and resume.

Callbacks:

Callbacks will be in-person on Sun. October 11, from 12 to 4pm. Callbacks will consist of reading sides. Actors may not be called for the whole callback window. If you have any conflicts on 10/11, please note that in the audition form.

Rehearsals:

Actors can expect to be called for around 5 rehearsals per piece, in addition to tech week. Rehearsal schedules will be finalized by directors once their pieces are cast based on actors' availability. Some rehearsals will be virtual.

Stipend:

There will be an expense stipend of $300
