Mission Statement

Left Coast Theatre Co. is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization (EIN: 82-2049809) that promotes the artistic work of the LGBTQ+ and allied communities in order to promote diversity, encourage dialogue, and provide an opportunity for unique voices to be heard. 

We aim to achieve this by: 

• Developing and staging the theatrical works of the LGBTQ+ and allied communities

• Developing an imprint featuring a catalog including fiction, non-fiction, and theatrical works of LGBTQ+ and allied writers

• Holding and sponsoring workshops that encourage and support writers and actors in developing their craft

• Providing a working environment that fosters mutual respect, collaboration, and leadership among writers, actors and directors through the production process.
